Who am I?

Who am I?

I am a former programmer for the airlines, corporate communications specialist, middle school ELA teacher, and library assistant. I am now retired. Beyond my professional resume, I am deeply immersed in the world of tabletop role-playing games. I have a long-standing passion for worldbuilding and Game Mastering, and I am currently channeling that experience into writing a practical guide to help new Game Masters find their footing (see onceuponattrpg, com). I am also an avid knitter, and I am currently engaged in making tiny badge and bag charms (see myknittingera.com). I am the mother of two grown children–a daughter and a son–wife to an amazing husband, and sister to seven brothers and sisters.

My creative work is heavily influenced by a love for the cottagecore and medieval aesthetic. I enjoy bridging the gap between digital design and physical craft, whether I am 3D printing miniatures for my campaigns, knitting intricate figurines, or working on embroidery projects. I also find great value in exploring how new technologies, including AI, can act as a partner in my creative and administrative workflows. Ultimately, I view my projects—and my personal knowledge collection—as a growing, evolving process that reflects my curiosity and commitment to making.
